Catherine Brewton officially founded Hope for Harvest in 2016. Hope for Harvest uses cultural influences and charitable resources to provide essential living items and services for Charlotte’s underserved youth, while providing an escape through music, dance, and life development programs. Brewton recently released the “Hope for Harvest Coffee Table Book: A Visual Journey of Faith, Hope & Love.” In addition, Brewton is in the early stages of producing a documentary and publishing a book about her late mother titled, “Miracle on Brewton Drive: How Pastor Barbara Brewton Cameron Transformed the City.” She is also working on a residential and commercial redevelopment on Brewton Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina, where her plans are to revitalize the area where some 40 years ago, her late mother redeveloped the same community.
